Description

Off the cusp of the resounding success of last years New Yearsdive trip to Kangaroo Island, we will be running a similar style trip exploring some of the many amazing dive sites the Eyre Peninsula has to offer.

Location: Eyre Peninsula, Based at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat

Timing 26/12/2020 - 03/01/2021

Coordination is taking place in the Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/305529260830917

You can find a full trip guide here: https://www.adelaidescuba.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/AUSC-Eyre-Peninsula-2020-Trip-Guide.pdf

The total fixed cost is $400 which includes meals and accomodation if staying the full time. There are options for members to come down for a couple of days instead of the entire time.

There are also non-fixed costs depending on number of dives and number of people attending:

  • Boat dives are priced at the standard $20 single/$30 double, air fills are priced at $8 (trip rate), so expect to pay roughtly $322 if doing 2 dives per day.
  • Towing fuel cost will be divided evenly between all attendees. The cost is estimated at $600 total, so if 20 people attend, it will be a cost of $30 per person.
Please see pricing in the trip guide for a full breakdown.

This is a volunteer trip, which means everyone will have to pitch in to make things go smoothly.  We will require members to assist with logistics, such as bringing up food & compressors etc.. and will also require throughout the trip to assist with cooking/cleaning and filling tanks.

Some members will meet at the AUSC Clubrooms in the morning on Boxing Day, with the Boats, compressors and other gear loaded and distributed between vehicles.

Some members will meet at Port Augusta around lunch time to load up with food for the trip.
