The West Beach Recreation Hub has undergone a major upgrade, which was officially launched in December 2021. New unisex change rooms and clubrooms are now available, home to Adelaide University Sport Clubs such as hockey, cricket, soccer, gliding, scuba and mountain. West Beach has also developed the playing fields into a multi-sport hub for both competitive sports and recreational pursuits.
