How to join

If you are interested in joining a club, contact them directly to see if you can attend a ‘come and try’ or training session to confirm that is the club for you. If you are joining an AU Sport Club via the AU Sport online system, you will be prompted to also purchase AU Sport membership at the time of purchase. If your club uses another payment gateway for fees, they will explain the process to you.

If you are a current AU Student and still want to join our membership, purchase the FREE AU Sport Student membership.

Returning members will see that the process has changed slightly as all 12-month AU Sport Membership products have been rolled into the one. To ensure that you don’t have any issues with transition to the new process, please check the ‘Help Guide’ linked below.

Online Account Tips

All members will need to create an account on the AU Sport website. If you experience difficulties with purchasing a membership, it may be as a result of your account 'user type' as each membership has 'user type' restrictions to ensure that members are purchasing the correct memberships. If you need to update your 'user type', this can be accessed via 'Manage Account' (top right-hand corner). If you are still having difficulties, please contact Ben Mesisca or call 8313 5403.
