Adelaide University Sport and Fitness would like to congratulate David Tillett on his induction into the South Australian Sport Hall of Fame.
It was announced late last month that Tillet, 67, will be one of six inductees, recognising his career in Sailing as an umpire and jury chairman.
An Alumni of the university, he completed his Law degree at the University of Adelaide, however the sport of sailing was his real passion.
David was awarded the Australian Sport Medal in 2000 for his services to national and international sailing, which included judging, umpiring and administration.
In 2014, he was also appointed Member of the Order in Australia for his significant services to the sport.
The class of 2021 will be inducted in the SA Sport Hall of Fame on 8 April 2022.
