Co-Captains announced ahead of 2025 UniSport Indigenous Nationals

Temaana Yundu Sanderson-Bromley and Tashani Wyatt, two University of Adelaide student-athletes, have been selected as co-captains at this year’s UniSport Indigenous Nationals. Both are preparing to guide their team for the first time as they head to Whadjuk County (Perth) for the 2025 UniSport Indigenous Nationals, running from June 23-27.

Inaugural AIS and AUSF Sports Scholarship Recipient, Isaiah Muller – A Story of Determination and Drive

This year, a new initiative was launched to support elite athletes and coaches balancing the demands of high-performance sport with education. The AIS and AUSF Sports Scholarship, a joint venture between the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and Australian University Sport and Fitness (AUSF), offers $5,000 per year for up to three years, enabling recipients to pursue tertiary studies at The University of Adelaide while continuing to train and compete at the highest level.

Forty-three students took part in two basketball trials in April, all aiming for a place on the University of Adelaide’s AU Waatu men’s and women’s teams competing in the 2025 New Balance University Basketball League (UBL). From Crash to Comeback - Olivia Eyes Success at UniSport Nationals Triathlon

University of Adelaide student Olivia Bittner, is preparing to take on the sprint triathlon at this year’s UniSport National Triathlon event in Woolongong NSW from 26-27 April, where she’ll compete in a 750m swim, 20km cycle, and 5km run. A passionate and determined athlete, Olivia is excited to represent the University of Adelaide on the national stage.
